What or who inspired you to pursue your major/career?
As I grew up, I was fascinated by the way marketing seemed to touch every aspect of my life. From the commercials I saw on TV to the billboards that lined the streets, marketing was everywhere, shaping the world around me. I was drawn to the diversity of marketing; the creativity of advertising, the strategic thinking behind branding, and the power of digital campaigns to reach millions. Seeing how marketing could influence opinions, behaviors, and even cultures, I knew I wanted to be part of this field. Marketing, to me, represented not just a career path, but a way to make a meaningful impact on the world.
What is one thing you are proud of achieving in your life?
I am incredibly proud of achieving admission into Rutgers Business School. It represents years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Getting accepted wasn’t just about meeting academic requirements; it was about proving to myself that I had the determination and ability to pursue my dreams. Knowing that I earned a spot in such a prestigious institution fills me with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. It’s a reminder that with passion and effort, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
What keeps you motivated? What maintains your passion for and commitment to the work you
are doing?
What keeps me motivated is the pursuit of personal growth and development. I’m driven by the opportunities to expand my skills, knowledge, and capabilities, knowing that each step forward brings me closer to reaching my full potential as a person. The chance to continuously learn and improve excites me and keeps me engaged in the work I do. Also, my commitment is fueled by the desire to support my family in the future. Knowing that the efforts I put in today will contribute to creating a better life for my loved ones drives me to work hard and stay focused on my goals.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My mother and siblings, played a huge role in helping me achieve my goal of getting into Rutgers Business School. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices made all the difference in my journey. I remember how my mother spent countless hours helping me prepare for exams, reviewing applications, and providing emotional support during stressful times. My siblings also offered valuable insights and motivation, cheering me on every step of the way. Their belief in me, coupled with their practical assistance, fueled my determination and gave me the strength to pursue my dreams. I’m forever grateful to them for their love and guidance, which ultimately led me to where I am today.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy listening to music, playing basketball, hitting the gym, and hanging out with friends. Music offers me a chance to unwind and explore different emotions, while basketball and gym sessions keep me active. Spending time on the court or lifting weights allows me to challenge myself physically and mentally. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends watching a movie or eating out together. These activities not only help me relax but also contribute to a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Is there a particular book that made a significant impact on you? What is it and why did it resonate with you?
Rich Dad Poor Dad had a huge impact on me due to its insights into personal finance. The contrasting perspectives of two father figures highlighted lessons about wealth and financial independence. It challenged conventional beliefs and encouraged a mindset shift towards entrepreneurship and asset building. Learning about the importance of financial education, investing wisely, and understanding cash flow resonated deeply with me. Inspired by the book, I am on a journey towards financial literacy and empowerment, determined to take control of my financial future.
The road to success is difficult and requires tremendous dedication. What advice would you give
to a young person who aspires to follow in your footsteps and emulate your success?
You should first clarify their goals and commit to them despite challenges. Prioritize continuous learning and seek guidance from mentors and role models. Embrace calculated risks and maintain a balanced lifestyle to navigate the road to success authentically. Success is a journey that requires dedication, resilience, and staying true to oneself. Trust in your abilities and keep moving forward towards your goals!

My passion for personal finance comes from its role in achieving financial independence. One big moment in my journey occurred when I actively took control of my finances. Through dedicated learning, disciplined saving, and strategic investing, I started on a path towards financial autonomy. Milestones like paying off debt and building a strong savings portfolio reinforced my commitment. The sense of empowerment and security that financial independence brings continues to fuel my passion for personal finance.
